A fountain is the smallest way to get moving water into a garden; for most courtyards and entries it is the right one. The piece sits on a hidden basin, the pump lives underneath; there is no open water to fence, net or skim.
Every kit here is from Aquascape and arrives complete. Choose by the shape you want to look at: an urn or a sphere reads as sculpture, a bowl or spillway reads as a small landscape.
Fountains questions, answered
What is in a fountain kit?
The fountain itself, the underground basin that holds the water, the pump, the tubing and the fittings. It is sold as one box so it runs the day the groundwork is finished.
Where should a fountain go?
Near where you sit or an open window, because the sound only carries a few metres. A fountain at the far end of a lawn is decorative; one beside the table is the reason people buy them.
Does it need a power point?
Yes, an outdoor rated one within reach of the basin. Sort that before the feature arrives, because adding it afterwards usually means lifting whatever was just laid around it.
