Accessories ordered on their own
An accessory ordered with the product it belongs to adds no extra freight. Ordered on its own, it carries a small order charge:
- $50 for EcoSmart and Aluvy accessories under $250, Witt accessories under $800 and Winter Gardenz accessories under $2,000
- $30 for Buschbeck accessories under $125 ($35 to Tasmania, $40 to Western Australia and the Northern Territory), then $80 up to $1,499 ($90 to Western Australia and the Northern Territory)
- $115 to $145 by state for Polito tools and accessories under $600

Aquascape pond and waterfall kits ship at one flat rate to every state: $199 for most kits, $299 for the large pond kits and $999 for the recreation and wetland kits. Pond treatments and installation consumables are a flat $12. Liner and underlay freight follows the length you order.
Winter Gardenz greenhouses travel free to your nearest Mainfreight depot, where you collect them with a trailer and the depot loads them by forklift. Home delivery is optional at the rates above, chosen at checkout. Kustom Pergolas cannot guarantee delivery to Tasmania or remote areas, so call us before ordering there.
Shadowspec, Revolvashade and Umbrella Fellas umbrellas, Polito ovens and Ochre Living fireplaces have their own rates, set out in full further down.

Timing varies by maker because the pieces are very different. Some ship from stock, some are built to order. These are business days, door to door; they include the nought to two business days we take to check and prepare your order before it leaves.

In Victoria you can also collect your oven free from Thomastown, Melbourne; we arrange a time with you.

Buying a fireplace accessory without a fireplace? It ships at a flat rate by state, shown below. The log stores are heavy and travel by pallet, so they carry a higher rate. The other accessories (chimney blocks, rain cap, top cap, render, jointing adhesive and cooking grid) are the lighter rate.

Ordering accessories with a fireplace? They travel with it and add no extra freight. Ordering a lighter accessory and a log store without a fireplace? Each carries its own charge. Checkout always shows the exact figure before you pay.
On arrival
Standard delivery is to the easiest ground level access point on your property. Heavy pieces travel on freight with tail lift and pallet jack handling. If access is tight, call us before you order so we can confirm the right delivery method for your address.
Before your delivery
For anything on a pallet or over about 30 kg, the driver brings it to the kerb or the easiest ground level access point. They do not carry items inside, up stairs or around the back.
Two things make delivery go smoothly.
- Someone over 18 needs to be there to receive it and sign. For heavy pieces, have a second person on hand. An EcoSmart fire table or an Ochre Living pallet is not a one person lift.
- Know where it is going to sit. Pallets need a firm, flat, ground level spot a pallet jack can reach. Soft lawn, gravel or a steep driveway is a problem, so tell us first if that is what you have.
Living in an apartment or a building with a lift? Call us on 1300 515 620 before you order. We will sort the access out with you rather than have the truck turn up to a problem.
If nobody is home
We would much rather this never happened, so here is how it works, plainly.
Carriers charge us a fee when they attempt a delivery they cannot complete. That fee is currently $75. Where the attempt fails for a reason at your end, we pass on that $75 at cost. We do not add anything to it.
A failed attempt at your end means one of these:
- Nobody at the address at the agreed time
- Access was not as described, so the truck could not get in
- No safe place to leave the goods, where authority to leave was given
If the attempt fails for a reason at our end or the carrier's, you pay nothing. That covers a carrier arriving outside the agreed window, a truck sent to the wrong address, or a booking we got wrong.
Authority to leave
Authority to leave means the driver can leave your order without anyone signing for it. It applies only where you have asked for it. It also needs a genuinely safe spot: on your property, under cover, out of sight from the street. A shared hallway or an apartment foyer is not a safe spot.
Once goods are left under authority to leave they become your responsibility. Carriers do not cover loss or theft after that point, so we cannot claim it back for you either. On anything above $500 we suggest being there instead.
Damage in transit
Please check your delivery on arrival. If anything has been damaged in transit, keep the packaging and send us clear photographs within 48 hours so we can lodge a freight claim and put it right quickly. The timeframes above are estimates and not guarantees; we are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as carrier or weather delays.
