Good to know before you buy
- Wind vs base weight. A cantilever mast lifts hard in gusts, so pair with the heaviest Installation Base your surface allows. Always close the canopy in strong wind.
- Sizing for a dining table. Allow about 1 m of shaded overhang on each side. A 2.5m sq shades a 4-seater, 3.0m sq a 6-seater, 3.5m octagon up to 8, 4.0m octagon up to 10.
- Fabric options. Four stock colours are included. Ten further Shadowspec colours are available as a special order at a surcharge, and custom Sunbrella colours by quote.
- Warranty is split. 10 years on the Sunbrella or Recasens canopy, 6 years on the frame, both residential. Wind damage, accidents and misuse are excluded.
- Mount chosen at purchase. The Serenity ships without a base. Add the Shadowspec Installation Base (Surface Plate, In-Ground Anchor, Wall Base Bracket or Free-standing Base) to suit your surface.

Fitting it in
The 3.0m square canopy covers 9 m², enough to fully shade a 6-seat dining table with 1 m clear on each side. Total height is 2,908 mm to the mast cap and 2,219 mm from canopy edge to the ground when open.
The mast footprint is compact because every mount fixes at a single point. Allow a clear circle of about 300 mm around the base for the rotation arc, and step back the seating so nobody is inside the canopy sweep as it moves.

Can I add LED lighting?
Yes. The ShadowHub is a 48-LED hub built into the top of the canopy, powered by the Shadowspec Smart Battery or a Hardwire Kit. Both are sold separately.
What size should I pick for my dining table?

Can I get colours beyond the four stock canopies?
Yes. Ten further Shadowspec colours are available as a special order at a surcharge, including Natural, Taupe, Linen, Charcoal, Slate, Captain Navy, Storm, Sunflower Yellow, Terracotta and Fern. Custom Sunbrella colours outside this range are available by quote.
