The Mix 600 is the smallest bowl in EcoSmart's Mix line, a 600 mm cast Fluid Concrete bowl standing just 229 mm tall. It runs on the AB3 burner, the same size burner used in the Stix, which gives it the lowest running cost anywhere in the EcoSmart range: about $2 an hour on full flame, closer to $1 on low.
We tend to place it on balconies, in courtyards and on compact patios, anywhere the space calls for a low sculptural bowl rather than a big piece of furniture. It sits neatly beside a two seater sofa or a bistro table, enough presence for a quiet evening for two or three without asking for much floor space.
It isn't built to heat a whole entertaining area. The AB3's 1.7 kW output warms about 20 m², a focal point rather than a primary heater. If you're furnishing an open patio or pool terrace and want the flame to read across a full seating circle, the Mix 850 steps up to a wider 850 mm bowl on the 6 kW AB8 burner for a broader, stronger flame.

Fitting the Mix 600 in
The Mix 600 is 600 mm across, 229 mm tall, and 23.4 kg with burner and media, light enough for one adult to lift into place. Allow 2,000 mm above the flame and 600 mm from any fixed object, on a level, non combustible base.
There's no gas, plumbing or power to plan for. Move it from balcony to courtyard, or bring it in from the deck for the season; fill the AB3 and light it with the included Lighting Rod. You've got flame in seconds.

What is Fluid Concrete?
EcoSmart's cast composite: green cement mixed with 95% recycled natural materials. It absorbs CO2 during curing (carbon negative) and is 100% recyclable at end of life. Resists scratches, staining, mould and mildew, and stays lighter than solid concrete.
Does it come with fuel?
