Ever looked at a Fire Table price tag and done a double take? The short answer: you're paying for grade 304 stainless steel construction, a precision-engineered burner, premium materials like GFRC concrete and tempered glass, and independent safety certification, not...
A fire table needs a minimum of 600mm clearance from any fixed object and 2,000mm of overhead clearance if it sits under a roof, though most people leave more room than that purely for comfortable seating. Before your outdoor cushions...

The ideal fire table height depends on how you actually relax outdoors. Low lounge styles suit laid-back drinks around deep seating, while taller designs suit dining and entertaining. Before you end up awkwardly reaching for snacks or roasting your knees,...
Yes, you can have a fire table under a pergola, but only with proper ventilation, safe clearances and a fuel type that will not throw sparks at the timber above it. Before your cosy backyard setup turns into a smoky...
Yes, you can have a fire table under a gazebo, but only with proper ventilation, safe clearances and a fuel type that will not throw sparks or embers around a roofed structure. Before your cosy backyard evening turns into a...
Yes, you can have a fire table on your deck, but only with the right heat protection, spacing and setup underneath it. An EcoSmart bioethanol fire table is freestanding and self-contained, no gas bottle, hose or fitting involved, which makes...
Yes, a bioethanol fire table can go under a covered patio, and being ventless actually makes it a better fit for the job than a gas unit. There's no chimney or flue to install, but you still need the right...
Ever wondered how safe a fire table actually is? Short answer: an EcoSmart bioethanol fire table is very safe when it's used as designed, no gas line, no tank, no flue, but it's still an open flame and deserves the...
Wondering if fire tables are safe on composite decks? The short answer: yes, an EcoSmart bioethanol fire table sits comfortably on composite decking, provided you give it a stable, level, non-combustible base and keep the clearances the manufacturer specifies. There...
