Built-In Configuration of the Polito Giotto, Handmade in Melbourne
The Polito Giotto Oven BTS is the built-in configuration of the Giotto wood fire pizza oven, designed to install into an outdoor kitchen bench or cabinet surround. Cooking-ready in about 30 minutes, not the hours older wood fire ovens demand. Handmade in Melbourne from refractory materials, the BTS brings full Giotto cooking performance into an architecturally integrated setting. Available in Champagne, Black, Copper and Shimmering Rose.
Perfect For
- Architect-designed outdoor kitchens where the oven sits flush within cabinetry
- Considered alfresco builds calling for an integrated wood fire oven rather than a freestanding appliance
- Owners who want the Polito cooking standard and a built-in finish in the same project
Why You'll Love This
Cooking-Ready in About 30 Minutes
A Polito heats fast because it is engineered for refractory efficiency, so dinner does not wait. The BTS uses the same refractory dome as the freestanding Giotto, reaching 300 to 400 degrees Celsius in 30 to 45 minutes.
Architectural Built-In Result
The BTS configuration is engineered for integration into a prepared cabinet or bench surround, so the oven sits flush within the outdoor kitchen rather than reading as a separate appliance.
Four Considered Finishes
Available in Champagne, Black, Copper and Shimmering Rose. Each finish is applied to the oven's exterior face and trim, so the installed oven complements the surrounding cabinetry and material palette.
Handmade in Melbourne
Every Polito BTS is built to order at Polito's Melbourne workshop from locally sourced refractory materials. Polito's team supports installation, accessories and after-sales care through My Acre.
Features
Identical Cooking Performance
The refractory cooking floor and dome construction remain identical to the standard Giotto. 400 degrees plus capability, authentic wood fire results, the same lightweight engineering carried into a built-in body.
Designed for Cabinet Integration
The BTS configuration is purpose-built to sit within a prepared bench or cabinet surround. Contact My Acre for cabinet specification, clearance requirements and installation guidance.
Compatible Accessories
Pairs with the Polito Alemano Temperature Gauge, Polito Pizza Stone and 3x Oven Tool Set. All available through My Acre.
Considered for Coastal and Prestige Builds
The finish palette is selected to complement natural stone, timber and dark cabinet treatments common to architect-designed coastal and prestige outdoor kitchens. The same Giotto cooking performance, dressed for the build.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does BTS mean?
BTS stands for Built To Suit. This configuration is designed to install into a prepared cabinet, bench or outdoor kitchen surround, rather than being used as a freestanding oven. Contact My Acre for installation guidance and cabinet specification requirements.
How long does it take to reach cooking temperature?
Cooking-ready in about 30 minutes, not the hours older wood fire ovens demand. The refractory dome reaches 300 to 400 degrees in 30 to 45 minutes, the same firing time as the freestanding Giotto.
Is the cooking performance the same as the freestanding Giotto?
Yes. The BTS configuration uses the same refractory dome and cooking floor as the standard Giotto. The difference is in the exterior configuration, built-in rather than freestanding, not in cooking capability.
Which colour should I choose?
Champagne and Shimmering Rose suit warm-toned outdoor kitchens with natural stone or timber. Black provides strong contrast and suits darker cabinet finishes. Copper is a premium accent finish that pairs well with both light and dark palettes.
Is a gas version available?
A gas-fired Giotto is coming soon, with the same refractory build, dialled-in gas regulation and around 30 minute heat-up. Call My Acre on 1300 515 620 to register interest and be notified when it is available in the BTS configuration.
Does it include accessories?
The oven is supplied as a single unit. Accessories including the Polito Alemano Temperature Gauge, Pizza Stone and 3x Oven Tool Set are available separately through My Acre.
