The Collapsible Cooking Grid sets a stable mild steel surface over hot coals, so you can cook straight over an open fire in your Ochre Living fireplace or any fire pit of a similar size.
Built from mild steel with an 8mm frame, the grid gives a 440 x 330mm cooking surface, enough for a full meal for a small group. The hinged legs fold flat, so it packs away for storage or travels easily between the fireplace and the shed.

Will this fit my Ochre Living fireplace?
The grid sits over an open bed of coals rather than fixing to the fireplace itself, so it works across open fire and coal cooking setups. Call us on 1300 515 620 if you want to check it against your specific model first.
What is it made from, and will it rust?
Mild steel with an 8mm frame. Like any uncoated steel grid, it will develop a patina with use and can rust if left wet, so wipe it down and store it dry between uses.
Can I use it on a standard fire pit as well?
Yes. It is not fixed to any one appliance, so it works on an open fire or fire pit with a coal bed roughly the size of the grid.
How do I clean it?
Brush off ash once it has cooled, wash with hot soapy water if needed, dry fully and store somewhere dry. It is not dishwasher safe.
