Every pond collects sludge. Leaves, fish waste and dead algae settle on the floor. As it breaks down, it feeds the algae that cloud the water. A pond vacuum lifts it out without draining the pond.
PondoVac Classic is the compact choice for a small garden pond. A 1400 W motor pulls water into a 27 litre tank, which empties itself through the discharge hose.
PondoVac 4 and 5 are for larger ponds. The 4 fills and empties two chambers in turn, so suction never stops. The 5 adds a drainage pump that moves 8,000 litres an hour and pushes dirty water uphill, useful on a sloping site. Both roll on wheels.

Step two: check the depth you actually need to reach
- 1. Measure from where you will stand to the deepest part of the pond floor.
- 2. That is the number the suction depth has to beat, not the pond depth alone.
- 3. If it is more than 2.5 m, no PondoVac reaches it. The pond has to be drawn down first.

Pond sludge is high in nutrient, so most people run it onto a garden bed rather than to a drain.

Which PondoVac do I need?
Classic suits a small garden pond cleaned a few times a year. PondoVac 4 runs non-stop for larger ponds and pools. PondoVac 5 moves 8,000 litres an hour against 5,000 on the 4 and can pump dirty water uphill, so it suits large ponds and sloping sites.
What does non-stop mean?
PondoVac 4 has two chambers that fill and empty in turn, so suction never pauses. PondoVac 5 uses a built-in drainage pump. The Classic empties its tank automatically between cycles.
Where does the dirty water go?
Out through the discharge hose, onto the garden or to a drain. The hose is 2 m on the Classic, 2.5 m on the 4 and 8 m on the 5.
Can it clean a pool?
Yes. PondoVac 4 and 5 are also made for swimming pools, natural pools and wet vacuuming around the house.
What comes in the box?
