The owner's insights on the Spare Pizza Stone
The reason you'd add this on: pizza stones crack, usually from thermal shock when something cold hits a hot stone. It is not a fault, it is physics. A spare means one cracked stone does not end your season. The Etna uses two: the round rotating stone you cook on, plus the front stone at the mouth. Order whichever you need.

Frequently asked questions
Which stone do I need?
The round one, 40 by 40 cm, is the rotating stone you cook on. The front stone, 56 by 25 cm, sits at the oven mouth. If yours has cracked, match the shape rather than guessing.
Why did my stone crack?
Almost always thermal shock, from cold dough, oil or water meeting a stone at 500°C. Let the stone come up and down in temperature gradually and it will last.
Do these fit the Piccolo?
No, these are cut for the Etna Rotante 16 inch. Witt make separate stones for the Piccolo; ask us and we will chase them for you.
