Eco Control is the simpler choice for an AquaMax Eco Expert or Titanium pump. It is wired to the pump with a 10 m cable. It needs no power of its own. The display adjusts speed and shows power use, speed and running hours.

This is the step that catches people out. An older pump without OASE Control will not connect, whatever the controller.
Step three: the WiFi check, for the Cloud only
- Your home WiFi must reach the controller position on the 2.4 GHz band. The controller claims up to 80 m in the open.
- A phone running iOS 12.5 or Android 8.0 or newer.
- The OASE Cloud connection itself is free.
- Eco Control needs none of this. It draws power and signal through the 10 m cable from the pump.
What to have in front of you before you decide
- The exact model name of your pump, filter or lights, from the unit rather than memory.
- Whether each one is marked OASE Control.
- Distance from the pond to your router, roughly, in metres.
- Whether you want control while away from home, or only at the pond.

Can it stay outside?
Yes. Garden Controller Cloud is IP68 rated for year-round outdoor use. Eco Control is splash-proof and mounts on the pump, a ground spike or a wall.
Does Eco Control need its own power?
No. It draws its power through the 10 m cable from the pump.
What does the warranty cover?
Oase give Garden Controller Cloud 2 years, plus 1 on registration. Eco Control has 3 years. You call My Acre and we handle the claim with Aquatec.
