Filtral UVC puts a whole pond system in one box under the water. The pump pulls water through the filter media. A UVC lamp clears the green. The clean water returns through a fountain or a small spout. Only the fountain riser shows above the surface.
It suits small ponds, water bowls and courtyard ponds where there is no room to hide a filter box in the garden. Three sizes cover ponds from 1.5 to 6 m³. The 3000 and 6000 add an aeration nozzle for extra oxygen in summer.
It has limits. Above 6 m³, or with koi, the waste load is too much for a unit this size. A pressure filter with a separate pump is the better choice there.

Work out which size you need
Step one: find your pond volume
- 1. Measure length, width and average depth, in metres. Average depth, not the deepest hole.
- 2. Multiply the three together. That is your volume in cubic metres.
- 3. One cubic metre is 1,000 litres, so a pond 2 m by 1.5 m by 0.5 m deep is 1.5 m³, or 1,500 litres.
- 4. On an irregular pond, measure the longest and the widest, then round the result down rather than up.

Fish halve the number, because they add the waste the filter has to handle. Over 6 m³, or any koi, this is the wrong filter: look at a pressure or flow-through filter instead.

- Whether the pond gets full sun, which drives how hard the UVC has to work.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Filtral UVC do?
It pumps, filters and clears the water in one unit that sits in the pond. Filter media catch the dirt. The UVC lamp stops the floating algae that turn water green. The same pump drives a fountain on top.
Which size do I need?
Match it to the pond volume. The model number is the largest pond in litres with no fish. With fish, halve it. Above 6 m³, choose a pressure or flow-through filter instead.
Can it run a stream or spout?
Yes. A Y-distributor sends part of the flow to a small spout or stream. Flow and fountain height adjust separately.
Is it suitable for koi?
No. Koi produce far more waste than a unit this size can handle. For koi, look at a BioTec flow-through filter or a ProfiClear drum filter.
How do I clean it?
Lift it out of the pond, open the housing and rinse the filter sponges. Use pond water rather than tap water so the useful bacteria survive.
What does the warranty cover?
Oase give 2 years. The UVC lamp is a wear part and is replaced separately. You call My Acre and we handle the claim with Aquatec.
