Can the Linear 90 be used indoors?
Yes, if you select the Indoor variant and fit the additional parts EcoSmart requires, and the room meets the minimum 220 m³. The Outdoor variant is for open or semi-covered settings. Both share the same tray and dual XL900 burners.
How large an area does the Linear 90 heat?
On average about 120 m², from a combined 9 kW (31.65 MJ/h). The Linear 90 is a zone heater and focal point, not a replacement for primary whole-home heating.
How long does one fill last?
8 to 13 hours per fill. Total capacity is 18 litres, 9 litres per XL900 burner. At full flame both burners draw about 1.6 L/h; running lower, or on one burner, extends duration toward 13 hours.
How is the Linear 90 installed?
The Linear 90 is a built-in kit. You cut an opening in a non-combustible surface to the tray footprint (2,287 mm × 431 mm) and drop the tray in. The surround can be stone, concrete, porcelain, brick or tile, with no gas or electrical connection. The structure must carry about 55.6 kg plus the surround.
Can I run just one burner?
Yes. The two XL900 burners operate independently. Run both for the full 9 kW and full-length flame, or run one alone for roughly half the heat, a shorter flame and a longer burn on a single fill.
