The Vellum is the Cocoon on the wall: a round shell 600 mm across that stands 360 mm off the wall on its bracket, with the flame framed in a 295 mm opening. It burns bioethanol from a 1.5 litre combustion chamber and gives out 3.0 kW. It takes no floor space, which makes it the Cocoon for a narrow room, a hallway or a feature wall where a hanging or freestanding fire would be in the way.
The black model (CFVB) has a carbon steel shell with a high-temperature black finish and a stainless steel fascia; it is made for indoor use, though a covered alfresco is fine as long as it is not exposed to direct rain or water. The stainless model (CFVSS) is full 316 marine grade stainless steel, shell included, and Cocoon Fires rate it suitable for permanent outdoor installation.
The bracket is 250 mm high and 200 mm wide, so plan for a solid fixing into studs or masonry. We check the wall with you before the order goes in.
