Step two: check the pump against your tank and house
- 1. Decide where the pump will live: beside the tank (C3X, C5X) or inside it (C6X, Divertron C6, Bluediver C30).
- 2. Count the toilets, laundry and garden taps you want on tank water, then how many run at once. Compare that with the tap rating and listed flow.
- 3. Check the valve. The 3/4 inch AcquaSaver is listed to 50 L/min. Our rule of thumb: size against the lower of the pump rating and the valve rating.
- 4. Measure from the water level in the tank up to your highest tap. Compare that height with the listed head. The C3X and C5X also list an 8 m maximum suction lift.
