A fountain is the simplest way to bring movement and sound to a garden pond. The Aquarius Fountain Set Classic E sits on the pond floor on stable feet. It sends water up a telescopic riser to one of three nozzles.
Choose the nozzle for the look: Vulcan, Lava or Magma. A swivel head lets you set the fountain straight. A second outlet, adjusted separately, can feed a spout or a small stream at the same time.

Work out which size you need
Step one: pick the fountain height

Those are maximums. The height adjusts down, so buying the larger unit gives you range rather than a fixed display.
Step two: check the height against the pond
- 1. Measure from where the pump will sit to the nearest edge of the pond, in metres.
- 2. Our rule of thumb: keep the fountain height under half that distance, so a breeze does not blow the spray onto the paving.
- 3. A pond 3 m across gives you about 1.5 m of comfortable height, which is the 2000 E or a 3000 E turned down.

What to measure before you decide
- Distance from the pump position to the nearest pond edge, in metres.
- Water depth where the pump will stand, since the riser adjusts from 16 to 29 cm above it.
- Distance to the power point, against the 10 m cable.
- Whether the pond is exposed to wind, which argues for the lower setting.
- Whether anything is filtering the pond already.
