Most kitchens that claim two fuels give you a gas grill with a charcoal tray bolted into one corner. This one does not. The Revolution Dual Fuel carries a full-size charcoal kettle and a full-size three-burner gas grill in the same body, each with its own lid, each with its own cooking chamber. You can sear steaks over gas on one side while a shoulder takes its time over charcoal on the other.
The charcoal side has a gas-assist burner underneath it, so the coals light from the control knob rather than from a chimney and a firelighter. It is the difference between deciding to cook with charcoal an hour ahead and deciding twenty minutes ahead. That single feature is why we think this unit earns its place over a separate kettle in the corner of the yard.

Planning the run for your space
The dual fuel barbecue occupies 1,340mm in the middle of the run. Each module adds 695mm beside it, so a one-module kitchen is 2,035mm, two modules is 2,730mm, and the full sink, storage and fridge run is 3,425mm. Depth is 703mm at the modules and 590mm at the barbecue body, so the modules sit slightly proud of the barbecue.
Bench height is 924mm across the modules, with the sink module standing taller at 1,214mm to carry the tap. The one measurement people miss is behind the unit: the charcoal lid swings back on a 590mm arc, so leave at least 200mm between the barbecue and the wall or the lid will not open fully. Frequently asked questions
Which configuration should I choose?
Fridge only is the shortest and cheapest run. Add a storage cupboard if you want a closed cabinet for charcoal, tools and the gas bottle. Add the sink module if you would rather rinse and prep outside. The full sink, storage and fridge run gives you all three at 3,425mm wide.
Can I use the charcoal and the gas at the same time?
Yes. The charcoal kettle and the gas grill are separate cooking chambers with separate lids under one body, so you can run both together, or either on its own.
How much space do I need?
Between 2,035mm and 3,425mm of width depending on how many modules you take, at 703mm deep. Leave at least 200mm behind the barbecue so the charcoal lid can open fully on its 590mm arc.
What gas does it run on?
ULPG, the bottled LPG sold at any service station or hardware store. The storage module is where most owners keep the bottle.
What does Flare-Free Technology actually do?
It captures and removes around 75% of the grease that renders out while you cook, before it can drip onto the burners. Less grease reaching the flame means fewer flare-ups, fewer hot spots and less food burnt on the outside while still raw in the middle.
How big is the fridge?
70 litres net, with three shelves sized for cans and bottles. It is a tropical climate grade unit running on R600a refrigerant, which is the low global warming potential option.
What exactly does the warranty cover?
