Do I need the storage kit first?
Yes. This add-on turns an existing Aquascape rainwater reservoir into a fountain. It has no storage of its own.
Which fountains does it suit?
Any of the sub-surface reservoir pieces: stacked slate urns and spheres, scalloped urns, faux basalt columns and spillway bowls. Tell us which one you like and we will confirm the pump match.
How is this different from the waterfall add-on?
The waterfall version includes a spillway and stream liner for a rock stream and needs length and a fall. This one feeds a single decorative piece, so it fits a courtyard.
Do I need council approval?
It varies by council and by what the water is used for. Non-potable garden use is usually simple enough. Check with your local council before you excavate.
Can I drink it?
Not without a treatment train that this system does not include. Treat it as garden, irrigation and water-feature supply. Talk to a licensed plumber if potable use is the goal.
Can I add it after the reservoir is buried?
Yes, though it is easier if you plan the fountain position first. The vault needs to sit where the pump can reach the feature.
Can I install it myself?
If the reservoir is already in the ground, yes. It is a vault, a pump and one plumbing run.
