JEAN is the piece that turns a barbecue into an outdoor kitchen. It sits against the side of the MARCEL at the same working height. It gives you the thing every charcoal cook is short of: somewhere to put the tray down.
Behind the doors are two compartments deep enough for charcoal, tools, pans and the things you would otherwise walk back inside for. The worktop takes the prep. Measuring 89 cm high by 84 by 64 cm, it reads as a piece of cabinetry rather than a trolley.
Order the side deliberately. A left cabinet sits on the left of the barbecue as you face it, a right cabinet on the right. People do get this wrong, so picture where you stand to cook before you choose. If you want cabinets on both sides, order one of each.
This is the Basalt frame, which pairs with the MARCEL Basalt. Mixing frames across the two pieces is possible, though the badges and legs will not match.

Choosing left or right
- Stand where you cook and face the barbecue.
- A Left cabinet stands on the left-hand side from that position; a Right cabinet on the right.
- For a cabinet on each side, order one Left and one Right.
- The protective cover is also handed, so match the cover to the cabinet you order.
If you are unsure which way round you want it, call us before you order. Swapping a cabinet after delivery means freighting 84 cm of aluminium back across the country.
