Fridges

Outdoor bar fridges built for Australian summers. A true outdoor bar fridge runs reliably in heat and weather, with a corrosion-resistant stainless cabinet, weather sealing and, for built-in installs, front venting. Our range from Rhino and Schmick includes marine-grade 316 stainless models for coastal homes and front-venting units made to build into an outdoor kitchen or alfresco bar.

Every fridge ships free Australia-wide, backed by our price-match promise and after-care. If you are deciding between built-in and freestanding or working out what size to buy, read the outdoor bar fridge buying guide.

Outdoor bar fridge FAQs

Can you put a normal bar fridge outside?

It is not recommended. An indoor bar fridge is not weather sealed, its cabinet corrodes outdoors, and its compressor struggles in summer heat, so it tends to fail early. An outdoor-rated fridge with a stainless cabinet and a heat-tolerant compressor is built for the conditions.

Do I need a front-venting outdoor bar fridge?

Only if it is built into cabinetry. A built-in fridge must vent from the front to shed heat, or it will overheat and fail. A freestanding fridge standing against a wall can vent from the rear.

Which outdoor bar fridge is best for a coastal home?

Choose marine-grade 316 stainless. Near the sea, salt air corrodes ordinary stainless over time. A 316 cabinet, such as the Rhino ENVY range, resists that corrosion and keeps the fridge looking and performing well for far longer.
