Glass door bar fridge
Twin-Door Bar Fridge for Serious Entertaining Capacity
The Schmick 190L is a triple-glazed twin-door bar fridge holding 220 cans, with heated glass to stop condensation. Built for indoor rooms and covered, enclosed outdoor areas.

Perfect For
- Home bars and entertaining areas needing serious capacity across two doors
- Undercover alfresco areas and enclosed patios that get genuinely hot over summer
- Buyers who want a choice of stainless or black finish, white or blue interior LED
Why You'll Love This
220 Cans Across Two Doors
Four adjustable chromed shelves span both doors, holding 220 standard cans, with patented sliding saddles that also take wine bottles of any size.
Built for Real Heat
Triple-glazed heated glass and a German-engineered rear fan hold a steady 1°C even at 38°C ambient, well past what a standard fridge handles.
Stainless or Black Finish
Choose an all-stainless cabinet or a black finish for $100 less, both in the same twin-door 190L body.
White or Blue Interior LED
Standard white LED lighting suits most rooms; blue LED is available for $35 more if that's the look you want.
Features
Triple Glazing, Heated Glass
Three layers of glazing plus a heated inner pane stop condensation forming on the door in humid conditions, with a manual switch to turn the heating off and save power.
Patented Sliding Saddle System
Rubber saddles slide along the shelf rail to cradle any wine bottle size, instead of fixed slots that only fit one bottle shape.
German Quiet Rear Fan
A specially sourced German fan keeps air moving over the evaporator without the drone of a standard fan, for a genuinely quiet unit indoors.
White or Blue Interior LED
Choose white LED as standard or blue LED for $35 more at the time of order, to suit the room.

Fitting It In
Exterior dimensions are 870W x 500D x 875H mm. If it's going into a cavity, joinery or under-bench recess, build the opening at least 890W x 550D x 885H mm to cover the fridge body plus clearance, and keep 50mm clear at the rear for airflow. It also stands freestanding with no cabinetry at all.
What's Included
- Schmick SK190-SS twin-door bar fridge
- 4 x adjustable chromed shelves (370 x 330mm) with sliding wine saddles
- Integrated locks on both doors
- 4 x adjustable levelling feet

How it compares
This model. Biggest capacity here, across two lockable doors, in stainless or black, for a home bar that needs serious volume.
Single door, front-venting so it can be built into cabinetry; less capacity but fits under a bench.
Smaller and single-door, but adds Party and Turbo blast-chill modes for fast-cold drinks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this fridge go outside?
A: It's rated for indoor use and covered, enclosed outdoor areas out of direct sun, not open-air exposure. No glass door bar fridge is designed to sit in direct sunlight.
Stainless or black, and can I get a blue interior light?
A: Stainless is $1,807 and black is $1,707, both in the same twin-door body. White LED lighting is standard on both; blue LED is available for $35 more.
Is it loud?
A: At 49 dB it's the loudest fridge in this range, a trade-off for the bigger twin-door cooling system. You will hear it running; it suits a bar or entertaining area rather than a bedroom.
How many cans does it hold?
A: 220 standard 375 mL cans across both doors, or a mix of cans and wine bottles using the sliding saddle shelves.
What does the heated glass switch do?
A: It turns the anti-condensation heating in the glass on or off. Leave it off in low humidity to save power, and switch it on if the door starts to fog.
What's the warranty and who handles a claim?
A: 2 years parts and labour. My Acre manages the claim directly so buyers aren't left chasing an overseas supplier.
How much does it cost to run?
A: About $383.70 a year with the heated glass switched off, based on 4.1 kWh every 24 hours at 25.64 cents per kWh. Actual cost depends on your electricity tariff and how often the heated glass runs.
What size opening do I need if I'm building it into cabinetry?
A: The fridge itself is 870W x 500D x 875H mm. Build the cavity to at least 890W x 550D x 885H mm to allow clearance and airflow, or leave it freestanding with no surrounding cabinetry at all.
