The castor wheels are designed for the Shadowspec Serenity and Unity free-standing base only. They are not made for the SU4, SU10 or Oasis ranges, which use a different base or mounting system.
Will the castors hold the base still once the umbrella is open?
Yes. Each castor has a locking mechanism that holds the base stationary once set. The locks are not a substitute for correct ballasting, so keep the base weighted per Shadowspec's guidelines.
Can the castor wheels be used on grass or gravel?
No. The castor wheels are designed for firm, level surfaces such as timber decking, concrete and pavers. They are not suited to turf, gravel or uneven ground.
