Common questions
How many units do I need for a full kit?
It depends on the kit and joint width. As a guide, allow one unit for a standard Ossa install and scale up for the larger Hotham and Perisher kits. Call us if you would like a hand sizing it.
Is it the right adhesive for the chimney blocks?
Yes. It is the same adhesive used across the modular blocks, the additional chimney sections and the matched accessories.
Can a standard masonry adhesive be used instead?
We do not recommend it. Standard adhesives are not always rated for the heat exposure and movement of an outdoor fireplace install.
How long does it take to set?
Set times vary with ambient conditions; see the product sheet for the working window and full cure time before lighting a fire.
