The reason you'd add this on: the MARCEL is built to live outside, so the cover is not about protecting it from weather. It is about not lifting the lid onto wet ash and leaf litter every time you want to cook. Cut to the MARCEL's 95 by 60 by 60 cm shape rather than a generic square, so it does not flap or pool water. It is stretch polyurethane sewn in Saint-Etienne, fully waterproof but breathable, so moisture vents instead of sitting against the metal. Fits the MARCEL only.

Do I need a cover if the barbecue does not rust?
Not for corrosion. Cast aluminium is fine outdoors permanently. The cover keeps leaves, dust and rain out of the cooking area so you are not cleaning it out before every use.
Will it fit the SAM brazier?
No. This cover is cut to the MARCEL's taller shape. The SAM has its own fitted cover.
Does it fit over the JEAN cabinet too?
No. The JEAN cabinet has a separate handed cover, in left and right versions.
