Smokeless Wood Fire Pit, Pre-Assembled and Coastal Rated
The VisionLINE Fire Pit V2 is the full size piece in the VisionLINE range, sized for a refined outdoor lounge, broad terrace or pool deck. The dual wall, secondary combustion burner draws air through perforations at the rim, ignites a second time as it rises and burns the timber down to a fine ash, reducing the visible smoke a single wall pit would carry.
Built from architectural-grade steel with the burner pre-assembled, ready to commission on site. No bricklayer, no specialist install. Cleanly lit in around 5 minutes from a level non-combustible surface. Specify in 304 grade stainless steel or powder coated black.
Perfect For
- A refined terrace, courtyard or pool deck where a real wood fire is wanted, without a fixed flue
- Owners specifying a real flame and the character of timber, with the smoke trail kept down
- Architect designed outdoor rooms where the burner reads as part of the design
- Coastal sites needing a fire pit that holds its finish year on year
Why You'll Love This
Architectural Steel Construction
A 304 grade stainless steel burner with a 202 grade tray, engineered to hold its finish in coastal settings and read as a piece of the architecture rather than as outdoor hardware.
Smokeless Secondary Combustion
Air drawn through the dual wall is preheated as it rises, then ignites at the upper perforations. That second burn consumes most of the visible smoke and leaves a cleaner flame and finer ash.
Quick Commission
The burner ships pre-assembled. Out of the crate, sited on any level non-combustible surface and loaded with seasoned timber, the unit lights cleanly in around five minutes.
Two Refined Finishes
Stainless steel or powder coated black. Stainless settles into a quiet warm grey patina with use; black reads more graphic and recedes into a deep night terrace.
Features
Dual Wall Burner
Twin walls separated by a precision air gap. Cool air enters at the base, rises pre-heated and feeds the secondary combustion at the rim perforations.
Architectural Steel Construction
304 grade stainless steel burner with a 202 grade tray. Engineered to coastal grade and built to read as a permanent fixture, not seasonal hardware.
No Flue, No Fixed Install
No bricklayer, no flue penetration, no specialist trade. Position the unit on any level non-combustible surface and commission with a single fire.
Smoke Reduced to AS/NZS 4012.13
Independently tested against the Australian and New Zealand standard for solid fuel space heaters, with secondary combustion consuming most of the visible smoke.
Sized for a Generous Outdoor Lounge
The full size piece in the VisionLINE range, sized for a six to eight seat outdoor lounge or dining setting. For a tighter terrace or balcony, the Mini V2 carries the same design language at a smaller diameter.
Cover Available
A weather resistant cover is available to extend the finish between uses. Particularly recommended for coastal and full sun positions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the VisionLINE V2 need a flue or any specialist install?
No. The burner ships pre-assembled. The unit sits on any level, non-combustible outdoor surface, fuelled with seasoned hardwood. No flue, no fixed install.
What fuel does the V2 burn, and how does secondary combustion work?
The V2 burns seasoned hardwood. Air drawn through the dual wall is preheated as it rises, then ignites at the upper perforations. That second burn consumes most of the visible smoke and leaves a cleaner flame and finer ash than a single wall pit.
Is it suitable for coastal use?
Yes. The 304 grade stainless steel burner is engineered for coastal sites. We recommend storing the unit under its cover when not in use to extend the finish.
What is the difference between the V2 and the Mini V2?
The V2 is the full size unit, sized for a six to eight seat outdoor lounge or dining setting. The Mini V2 is the smaller of the two, sized for a compact terrace, balcony or small lounge with a tighter heating zone.
What kind of wood should I use?
Seasoned hardwood gives the cleanest, longest burn. Avoid green, painted or treated timber. Dry kindling helps the secondary combustion engage quickly during the first few minutes.
