Eight metres of stream, a 630 litre reservoir buried under the gravel, and a pump moving up to 30,000 litres an hour. At that scale you stop hearing a trickle and start hearing actual water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e630 litres supports roughly 4.1 square metres of stream, which is nearly double the Medium kit. That extra volume is what lets the run stay convincing over eight metres rather than thinning out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEight metres also means fall. You need enough slope from the top of the waterfall down to the basin for the water to run, either a natural bank or one you build. On flat ground the whole header has to be constructed up, which is a different job and a different budget.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlan the stone before anything else. Eight metres wants close to 3.7 tonnes plus pebble. That is a truck, not a trailer. The same water goes round and round. None of it ever sits in an open pond.
