There is no curing period and nothing to leach.

The thing worth understanding before you order is that EPDM stretches. It conforms to whatever shape you dig rather than fighting it, which is why it suits natural-edge ponds, streams and swim ponds where a welded box liner would crease and bridge.

Buy it once. A pond relined in five years costs more in labour and rock handling than the liner ever did, which is the whole argument for 1.14 mm over the thinner 0.80 mm grade.

Working out the size you need

How to size a pond liner

<desc id="lsD">Plan view. A free form pond of 3 by 2 metres and 600 millimetres deep sits inside a rectangle of liner measuring 4.8 by 3.8 metres. The liner is always larger than the pond because it has to run down the sides and back out over the edge. The rule is pond dimension plus twice the depth plus 60 centimetres of overlap, applied to both the length and the width. For this pond that means a 4.57 metre wide roll cut to 4.8 metres.</desc><rect x="0" y="0" width="900.0" height="500.0" fill="#FFFFFF"></rect><text
